We have loved spending out August outdoors!!!

 We have stayed busy this past month with lots of outdoor fun.  Lots of playing for Porter and Callie in The Grove behind my parents house, lots and lots of water play, some park adventures with cousins, eating s'mores, picking apples, and getting outside any chance we get!

"made in oregon"

Saw these cute "Made in Oregon" onsies and thought they were so cute for my little Lulu.  I have some Oregon pride and am very happy that we get to live here in Oregon and very happy that Lucy got to be "made in oregon" as well.

 This Callie girl of mine loves her accessories and insists that she has her necklaces, boots, bracelets, hats, hair bows, and glasses.

 She was so certain that we had to take her kitty, back pack, and glasses out with us for a potty break during church-which she announced very loudly during sacrament meeting for all to hear.

I just love that these 2 cute cousins get so excited every time they see each other!!!  They have no choice but to be BEST friends!

Lincoln City

 We had seem on our weather app that is was going to be nice and sunny in Lincoln City so we decided to head to the beach for the day.  Savannah, Porter, Juliette, My mom, the girls and left around 9 am with a car full of kids, lunch, and sand toys, and stopped to get our salt water taffy at Reeds then got down to the sand.  Porter and Callie pushed their tractors in the sand and water most of the day and the babies enjoyed the sand (Juliette enjoyed it alittle too much and we could not get her to stop eating it) Lucy enjoyed the sand but then when she discovered the water I could not get her out of it.  She is such a water baby and loves it!!!

 And my water baby-she would crawl right into the water and it would get deeper and deeper until it was up to her mouth and I would have to hurray and pull her out so she did not drowned-and then she would cry and get mad at me!

So happy that the beach is so close and we can take little day trips with the kids and so happy my girls love it there so much!

Splash Park

 Savannah, Porter, Callie and I headed to the Wilsonville Splash Park while grandma stayed home with the two babies.  Callie and Porter had a great time running through the water ways, pushing their tractors, and filling up buckets and buckets of water and dumping it on themselves!  Savannah and I had a great time just watching, chatting, and relaxing without the two littlest ones to look after.  

 After a hot day playing we decided to grab a little frozen yogurt treat before we headed home to rescue grandma!

4 Cousins

These 4 cute cousins are all so fun and love playing together (its mostly Callie and Porter playing and Juliette and Lucy playing) but they are so cute and I am so happy they get to grow up right next door to each other.  I hope they stay great friends!

My little reader

 Callie loves to read books-she always has since she was just a baby-and she is still loving it.  We have started a new thing where we pick out 7 new books each week to get off the shelf and put onto the downstairs couch and together we will read them at least once, twice, sometimes even five times each day.  But it has been fun picking out and reading new books and finding some new books that Callie loves too!  Hope this little reader keeps up her love for books and reading!

Bauman Farms

 We love going to Bauman Farms and try to go every other week or so-it is great because we get to play on the playground, feed and pet all the animals, running around the fort and teepees, and see of the pretty flowers and plants, and it is all free.  Then we get to go into the little store and pick out some yummy produce to buy and we always get to pick out a little treat too!

 feeding the sheep-Callie is not afraid of feeding any of the animals-her mommy on the other hand does not touch nor feed any of the animals!
