Happy 8 month anniversary!!!

Shawn and I got to spend a fun weekend together as we celebrated our 8th month anniversay! Since we got alittle extra $ babysitting the Dunn's all week, we decided to splurge and watch a new movie instead of going to the dollar theater (like always) We went and saw Vantage Point and had mexican food for dinner. Then on Saturday we went to the big IMAX theater in Salt Lake and watched a cool show on the Human Body and then ate lunch at a yummy resturante at the Gateway. Here are some silly pictures of Shawn and I with some crazy glasses we were trying on at the science store at the IMAX theater.

Shawn and I had such a great Weekend and anniversary together. I love him so much and I have loved every single day we have spent together.

family of 2 to a family of 7

Well Shawn and I moved into the Dunn's nice big home in Pleasant Grove for 8 days while Alex (my boss) and his wife went on a cruise to Jamacia. So, we soon went from a cuddley newlywed family of 2 to a constantly busy and crazy family of 7. As you can see from the picture there is one boy, Grant who is 10 and then four grils: Abby is 6, Eliza is 5, Sharon is 3, and baby Clara is 1. We had a wild household, but we did have lots of fun too. We were all very busy with the kids school, gymnastics, dance class, acting class, a school play, and even an extended weekend for Presidents day. We took the kids to the Bean museum on BYU campus....the kids were not so excited to go see a museum full of beans, but when we went and they saw it was full of deal but stuffed real animals they were excited and loved every minuet of it. We also played in the snow, went to the Kangaroo Zoo, rented Mary Poppins, and played at McDonalds.
Here is Shawn with the kids standing in front of a huge Brown Bear at the Bean Museum.
After the museum we went to Krispy Kreme and ate yummy warm donuts and we got to watch them make the donuts in front of us.
Here is Clara with her crown, with so many little girls we had to keep busy with (my favorite) lots of crafts. We made crowns and princess wands, we painted, made valentines necklaces, we made cards, played with play dough, and colored...alot. While we kept busy with our crafts the two boys (Grant and Shawn) used their time wisley as Grant taught Shawn how to use his Wii system.
All in all we had a crazy but a great time with a houseful of kids, we were able to see what our lives will be like in about 15 years. For now we love spending lots and lots of time together and we are still loving the newlywed life.
It was also nice making alittle extra $$$.

New job #3

Well for all of you who dont know, I am now working as an executive assistant for Alex Dunn at APX Alarm. I have been at this new job for about 4 weeks now, and I am really enjoying it. Of course, my wonderful cousin, Eric, got me this job (along with Shawn's job as well). I quit at the Doctors office and was happy to be done schedualing appointments and getting sick from all of the sick kids coming in to see the doctor. Now I have my own cubicle and I am in change of taking care of Alex and I have two other little projects that I am in charge of, so I am loving this new job, especially since it is in Provo, I get paid salary, I get great health insurance, adn I get my cell phone paid for as well. Along with being Alex assistant and doing anything he needs me to do, Shawn and I also spent all last week watching his 5 children while him and his wife, Debbie, went on a cruise with the company. In my next post I will put up some pictures of the kids and our crazy week with a house full of children.
Life is good

Skiing in Park City!!!

My poor husband has been wanting to go skiing for the last 2 months, well we got 2 tickets to Park City from my work and we finally got to go! It has been a whole year before either of us has been skiing. We got all ready and took off, we finally got there and had to park miles away but we made it to the slopes and I only lasted 3 runs (long runs that is). I had fallen in the snow the day before and hurt my left knee, so that was hurting and I got the worst migrain headache, so I turned in early and headed into the lodge and slept on a couch until 4:30 when I finally called Shawn and told him I had to go home. He enjoyed himself, although he said he missed me and was sad that I was sick and hurt he spent the day skiing all over the mountain and having a blast. I was just happy the tickets were free. I promised him another better ski trip later on this season.

Snow and Ice

It has been very cold and snowy and icy latley here in Provo, Utah. He have enjoyed the snow, especially since we get to go skiing next weekend but it is not good for our little car. Everytime I go and get all the salt and sand from the roads washed off it snows again. We have had ice hanging from all of the gutters around our house.
