Bauman Farms

We love quick trips to Bauman Farms.  We decided to meet Savannah, Porter, and Juliette at Bauman Farms to check out their Halloween decorations and pumpkin patch, playground, and pet a few animals too.

Lucy was loving the swing and loving having sometime swinging with daddy too.

My little Lucy is such a climber and she was loving this little rock wall.  She would climb up the wall and then go down the big slide all by herself-she is getting so big!

Callie is getting so excited for Halloween this year and she gets so excited everytime she sees a pumpkin too and was loving all the pumpkins around Bauman farms

September is always full of Birthdays!

September is always full of lots of birthdays and the kids love being a part of each persons birthday and they love to help blow out candles, eat cake and ice cream, and open presents. 
First birthday of the month is Brock's on September 3- and we got lucky to have Brock in town visiting around his birthday.  Since Blake's Birthday is on the 6th of September (while Brock was visiting) they got to share a birthday dinner and apple crisp together!
Next birthday in the month is Amy's on the 18th and again Porter and Callie were right there to help with blowing out her candles in her apple strudel breakfast muffins.

My birthday was next on the 20th of the month and Callie and Lucy were right there to help with my candles on my strawberry shortcake and also enjoyed rides on my new pink bike

The last birthday of the month on the 24th is Jared's birthday and we got to celebrate his 30th birthday with a big birthday party the Saturday before and then got to enjoy some cupcakes on his real birthday too. 

Jared got lots of help blowing out his candles on his birthday and got a matching John Deere hat like Porter.

Oaks Park

 We headed out to Oaks Park for the "Chippers Preschool Rides" and had such a fun time watching Porter and Callie ride all of the little kid ride they wanted for 6.50-and we got to ride most of the rides with them too!

Callie defiantly took after her daddy-since he loves going on rides and I dont!  She loved all of the rides and went on alot of them herself and she loved the mini roller coaster and rode that 5 times!  We had such a fun day all together and Shawn got to come too since he has a break from school for his boards.  We already marked our calenders to head back to Oaks Park next year for another day of rides and fun! 

 Juliette and Lucy were both great spectators and enjoyed watching all of the action going on around them

 Callie loved the Carousel and rode it twice and it took her a very long time to choose which animal to ride

We love when Uncle Brocky comes to visit

 Brock got to come visit last weekend.  It is always fun when we have visitors and especially such fun visitors like Uncle Brocky.  Porter and Callie love to play with Uncle Brocky and first thing Callie would do in the morning while Brock was here was go upstairs to his room to "find him and play with him"  We were all sad when Brockys short stay had to end and he had to fly home to Emily (and we missed Aunt Emily too).

 While Brock was here we got to celebrate both Brock and Blake's birthdays together!!!

 And of course we had both Porter and Juliette help with blowing out the candles!!!

First day of school

 My mom, Savannah, and I decided to put together a little once a week preschool for Porter and Callie.  Grandma was in charge of the first day of school for the two littles and we had to start off with some "First Day of school" pictures!

 These 2 cute cousins are so fun and really love each other so much and I am so happy they have each other!

Depoe Bay

 Shawn, the girls, and I were invited to spend 2 days at Depoe Bay this week with the Campbells (some wonderful new Dental School friends).  We enjoyed walking around the little town of Depoe Bay, watching the whales, eating salt water taffy, and playing at the beach.  We love any opportunity to head out to the beautiful Oregon Coast and enjoy watching the girls love the sand and water of the beach.  

Callie and Shawn at the Whale Museum trying to find some whales.  We actually saw a ton of whales out in the water.  It was so fun sitting in our little condo watching whales out the window as we ate our dinner.

 Shawn and his girls-Callie insisted on wearing her sun glasses and said she needed them so her eyes wouldn't get cold

 We made it to the sand and sea and Callie took a run straight into the water

 Daddy and Lu in the water-again our little Lu showed us how much she loves the cold ocean water and got soaked and cried when we took her out.

Another fun adventure at the beach and such a fun time getting to know some new friends too.
