Callie 15 month apt

Callie just had her 15 month Dr apt last week and here are her 15 month stats:

Weight: 20 lbs 7.5 oz   15%
Height: 30.5 inches       57%
Head:48.2 cm              96%

Callie finally made it to 20 pounds and we can finally and officially flip her car seat to front facing-I think Callie and mommy will both be happy about this!

 Sad day...4 shots on these nice little leggys.  Its always nice to have Grandma at the Dr with us to help with shots because I am not good when it comes to my sweet baby getting them.  The nurse said that she will not be getting shots at her 18 month apt...but I am just going to be starting over with all the shots once this new baby comes next month :( 

Nelson/Woodley Family Reunion

We just got back from an awesome Nelson/Woodley Family Reunion at the beach in Lincoln City.  Our family got our own beach house and we were close to the beach and to the rest of the families.  We spent most days playing at the beach in the sand and ocean and hanging with all our aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.  Callie had a blast and could not get enough of the beach.

 Grandma Nelson had a fun activity for all of the great grandkids and she had collected lots of beany babies in the past and decided to give them all to the great grandkids.  She tied a string to each one and everyone got to pull one out...

 Everyone loved their little stuffed animals and played with them for the rest of the trip.  Callie got a little bear and loved to drag it around on her string.

My sweet Callie Ann in one of my favorite summer outfits.  I am sad that summer will be over soon and we will have to pack it away...but the nice thing is there is another little lady coming soon who can wear it next summer.

We are loving our beautiful and busy 14 month old!

We celebrated the summer almost being over with a fun BBQ and s'mores in the grove with some of our Dental School friends.  Callie loved playing outside with all the Dental School kids and getting very grubby playing in the dirt and eating sticky roasted marshmellows.

We are loving our summer days...but they are going by way to quickly and then it will be time for fall to roll around and then Baby Lucy will be here and we will become a family of 4!

Splash Parks and Beach Days

We have tried to spend some of our hot Oregon summer days enjoying the water at the Wilsonville splash park and the beaches in Lincoln City.  Callie loves the water and can play in it all day long.
