"Chip"

My Little Wild Woman Callie had a bad fall and chipped her 2 front teeth!  We both cried and I was a little nervous to call Shawn (who was at school) to tell him what happened.  I was just sick to my stomach every time I saw them but was reassured by Shawn that we would get them fixed.  Well we talked with a Pediatric Dentist a couple days later and he looked at them and said there is nothing we can do for her until they fall out on there own...5-7 years!!!!!
So sad, but I am getting use to them more and more each day and now Shawn calls her "Chip" and she likes to smile big and show off her chipped tooth!
Good thing she is still so dang cute!

Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas this year.  The best part was that we got to have Shawn home with us for 2 weeks.  Callie became very attached and didnt let her daddy get to far from her and she has been alittle sad with him back at school again.
We loved having Uncle Brock and Emily visiting and Callie enjoyed getting to know them again and enjoyed waking up and finding her Aunt Em-il-dee each morning.
Christmas is great with kids and Shawn and I were excited for Callie to get her play kitchen-and she has loved playing with it and making "cookies" for us all each day.

my little helper

Callie loves to help any and everyone in the kitchen.  One of her favorite mommy/Callie activites is baking cookies for Grandpa!  She is great and stiring, measuing, pouring and tasting.  She is kind of weird because she loves to eat the flour.  She would eat it by the spoonfuls if I would let her and she loves to lick it off the counters when it spills out of the bowl.
Callie has been developing her own fashion sense latley- and she loves her accessories and loves to wear her hats, boots, neacklaces, fluffy skirt and anything else she can find to put on.  I worry that this is going to be the start of some crazy outfit choices...and I am not quite ready for that yet.

A few December photos

We went to visit Santa Clause this year and Lucy thought Santa was nice and cozy and she fell asleep on his lap.  Callie on the other hand.....did not want anything to do with Santa and screamed the whole time.  I think it did make for a pretty cute picture though?

I decided to take Callie out with me to do some last minuet Christmas errands and she was such a good shopper/helper but she just got to wore out on the way home and fell asleep in the middle of me singing "The Wheels on the Bus"
Lucy is getting so big and I love her little smile :)
One of Callie's favorite things to do is play in the mud.  We have come across a few days that she just needs out of the house and some alone time with her mommy and without Lucy.  We usually take Cousin Porter with us and go run in all the mud puddles around the farm.
Farm rides with Daddy and Porter

I just loved this picture of Callie playing with her Christmas Nativity in her onsie and boots
 Miss LucyLoo looking so big
I never blogged about Thanksgiving and it was a wonderful time with family!  My mom and I made the 4 babies matching Turkey shirts out of the first letters in their name.  I loved them and thought they turned out very cute!

Family Pictures and Lucy Pictures

Aunt Diane took our family pictures a few weeks ago.  It was a rainy day but we just went for it anyways and took a couple quick shots.  We were happy with the outcome
The Whitings (dental school friends) came by to visit and meet Lucy and I asked if Whitney could help me take some pictures of Lucy.  She came and took some pictures and did an amazing job.  Love the pictures of my sweet LucyLoo

We were able to get a couple of Lucy and Juliette together.  Cute cousins just 8 days apart-crazy how different they look
This was the pic I chose to use for my Lucy birth announcment and I love it!

Picture update

Sweet LucyLoo
She is 6 weeks old and getting so big and happy and more alert these days.  She is a great baby and rarely cries and has been sleeping through the nights for the last 2 weeks-it is awesome.
Shawn was getting things ready to decorate the Christmas tree and when he turned around Callie had climbed to the top of the ladder all by herself
Lucy and cousin Juliette-just 8 days apart
Callie and Lucy all ready for church
Playing with her Nativity in her onsie and boots-I love those little leggys
 Callie loves her baby "Ucy"
Porter and Callie loved their chocolate cake after dinner-they both licked their plates clean

Zoo Lights

Shawn and I took the girls to see the Zoo Lights at the Portland Zoo on Wednesday.  We had a fun time walking around looking at the lights and Callie loved riding the Zoo train.  It was a cold clear night and there were a ton of people but it was still a fun time as Callie loved running around looking at all the lights with joy and excitement.
