Kara's Wedding Weekend

We had a busy busy weekend with lots of family in town for my cousin Kara's wedding. Jared, Amy and my mom drove in Wednesday night and then Savannah and Porter got in on Friday morning. We also had grandparents and all of our aunts, uncles, and cousins in town for the festivities as well. Friday night we all headed up to Park City for a family BBQ dinner and had fun seeing everyone and meeting Grants (Kara's husbands) family as well. After the dinner we had a baby shower for my cousin Megan, who is having a boy and due 1 week before me and for me. We both got lots of fun gifts from everyone. Then Saturday morning we headed to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple for the sealing. After the sealing we had a luncheon with Grants family at Thanksgiving Point and then later that night we went to the reception at a Garden Center in Highland-it was beautiful. We had such a fun weekend with all of our family in town and it all went by way to fast. I was sad to see everyone leave on Sunday. The flowers and center pieces on all of the tables for the wedding-the colors were black, white, and green, and it smelled amazing since there were flowers everywhere.

-It was great to have my mom in town for a few days-since she got to work sewing some baby blankets, bibs, and burp cloths and she took me shopping to get me my last bit of essential baby needs and also got me some things for me that I didnt even know I needed for the baby, hospital, and for breastfeeding. Thanks mom
