Anniversary Inn

Shawn has been so busy with school, research, TAing and writing his science paper that I decided to surprise him with a fun weekend away. My friend Melissa has a hook up at the Anniversary Inn and so I called her up to see if we could get one of rooms for Friday night. Now the Anniversary Inn is a small hotel in Salt Lake that does all themed rooms. I told her to pick us out any room that was still available.
So, I packed our bags while Shawn was in studying and then told him I had a date planned and to get into the car.
We grabbed Hires for dinner and then checked into the hotel. We walked into, "Sultans Palace" it was great. Our bed was 6 feet high on the backs of 2 elephants, the room was all decked out and the bathroom was a dungeon with the shower and jetted tub having a huge dragon around it. It was a crazy room-but so fun. One of the best parts was that they had blinds on the windows that did not let any light into the room so we could sleep in all morning in total darkness. Our shower
